A Rocky Mount woman is in jail because her daughter hasn't been attending school.

Margaret Graham was sentenced to one year, charged with contributing  to the delinquency of a minor.

Social workers say Graham ignored court orders to make her daughter  attend school, and kept her at home to look after other children.
