Just robbing a pet store wasn't crime enough for a Spartanburg thief. The culprit also abused the animals.
Someone broke into the Pet Company pet store over the weekend and not only stole cash, but ransacked the store, pouring liquid bleach in cages and directly onto some of the animals housed there.
More than thirty of the animals died, including parakeets, mice and snakes.
Sheriff's deputies say they don't have a suspect yet, but that the crime could be punished with up to 25 years in jail
