FAYETTEVILLE — February 12 1996, 2:55 p.m. EST

Bank teller Allison Logan is in satisfactory condition at Cape Fear Medical Center, after Monday's robbery attempt at her employer, Triangle Bank.

The twenty-six-year-old was wounded in her arm and leg, when her pressing a silent alarm bell reportedly angered one of two gunman.

Law enforcement officials are still looking for two men who entered the bank wearing stocking masks and carrying guns.

The robbers fled on foot in a woodsy area behind the bank. A search by law officers and trained search dogs turned up nothing.

Because of the stockings they wore over their faces, description is sketchy, but witnesses said the men were white or hispanic, and approximately 6 feet tall. One wore an oversized flannel shirt and blue jeans; the other wore a coat.

Triangle Bank is at 991 S. McPherson Church Road. Until about three months ago, the bank was known as Triangle East Bank.

The investigation continues. A state bankers' group has offered a $5,000 reward
