Predators Take Bite Out Of Cobras 56-28

RALEIGH — The Orlando Predators pounced on the Carolina Cobras in their 56-28 win in front of 12,762 fans at the Entertainment and Sports Arena.

North Carolina native Connell Maynor completed 19 of 31 pass for 251 yards and four touchdowns to lead Orlando. Cobras' rookie quarterback Jim Arellanes struggled, completing just 6 of 13 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown with an interception before being replaced by backup Carlos Garay in the third quarter. Garay completed the game, going a perfect 11 of 11 for 89 yards and two scores. He also ran four times for 31 yards.

The Predators (2-0) utilized a balanced offensive attack with Ty Law and Joe Douglas each catching five passes. Orlando also used a strong running game to pound Carolina.

The Cobras will next visit the Tampa Bay Storm on Thursday, May 4 at 8:30 p.m. -->
