FAYETTEVILLE — Hundreds of people have booked complaints with theCumberland County libraries.
They are upset that budget cuts have forced the main library and its branches to cut back the number of hours it operates.
In July, the library board voted to reduce hours at many libraries instead of closing two branches.
Due to the complaints, the library board plans to ask county commissioners for $64,000 to resume normal operating hours at theHeadquarters Librarydowntown.
