<b>FAYETTEVILLE</b> — A two-year-old girl is in the hospital  after a deadly car accident that claimed the lives of her parents Monday.

Fayetteville police say the car the child was traveling in crossed   the center line and plowed into a plumbing   van at the intersection of Yadkin Road near Silver   Pine Drive.

Beverly Smith and Anthony Jackson died in the accident.

Emergency crews rushed the child toCape Fear Valley Medical  Centerwith massive head  injuries and a broken leg.

The driver of the van is in stable   condition.
