Three Arrested In Fayetteville Motel Robberies

FAYETTEVILLE — Police say three men are in custody after holding up three Fayetteville motels on Wednesday.

All three suspects were arrested for holding up the Best Western on Cedarcreek, and the Fairfield Inn by the Mall. They tried to rob from the EconoLodge on Eastern Boulevard, but did not get any cash.

The suspects have been identified as Jeffrey Stinson, 30; Michael King, 17; and Jeffrey Livingston, 16. They were said to be armed with a pipe and ax-handle type of stick. No one was injured.

Police charged the suspects with two counts of armed robbery, and one count of attempted robbery and conspiracy.
