FAYETTEVILLE — Fayetteville police are investigating a shooting tht happened around 3 a.m. Sunday at the Odyssey 2000 club on Skibo Road in Fayetteville.
Police say that two brothers and two other men began fighting in the parking lot, that gunfire was exchanged and that two people were hit.
Dante Echols was shot in his left side and Norris Higgs was shot in the neck. Both are being treated at a local hospital. Neither injury is life-threatening.
Police say in the confusion, Calvin Higgs accidentally shot his brother.
Dante Echols, Rashan Ali Bethea and Calvin Higgs have been charged with discharging a firearm in public.
The suspects have been released on bond.
