ORANGE COUNTY — Residents of an Orange County neighborhood that is being overrun with rats want help from the state.
People in the Kennedy Circle subdivision noticed the rats two months ago when construction began on a nearby field.
They plan to send a petition to Governor Jim Hunt and other county officials. The petition accuses the health department of ignoring the problem and asks officials to look into the rat infestation.
One resident says her family recently caught a 16-inch rat. -->
