Search for Missing Granville County Teacher to Resume

GRANVILLE COUNTY — A popular high school teacher has mysteriously disappeared, and his students and co-workers are concerned.

When Cinnamon did not report to school Tuesday, principal Harold Carver went to his home to see if the teacher was OK.
"I knocked on the door, and the door opened," he says. "I went into the house and went from room to room, calling him."
Carver saw Cinnamon's car was still in the driveway, so he filed a missing persons' report with authorities. County investigators had been searching for Cinnamon since Wednesday.
Two boats scoured a pond Friday near his home. They discovered a cell phone, backpack and duffel bag in an area near the pond.
