LUMBERTON, N.C. — Robeson County sheriff's deputies Thursday were looking for two men wanted in the fatal shootings of two men and the wounding of two others.

The killings happened Wednesday evening in Lumberton, about the same time that a man and his wife died in a murder-suicide in Saint Pauls. Sheriff Kenneth Sealey said.

In Lumberton, Sealey said, Derrick Locklear and Lee Chavis, both 25, died after being shot at a house off Lumbee Drive. Officials did not release the identities of the two wounded men.

Deputies said they were looking for two black men in the incident, but they had no further description.

In Saint Pauls, Elbert Justice, 57, and his wife, Carolyn, 38, died in a double shooting that deputies believed to be a murder-suicide, Sealey said.

The couple was found in a house off Old Stage Road, officials said.

Deputies said it was not clear immediately which person had shot the other.
