<b>DURHAM</b> — Smoke filled the air in Durham County Thursday evening as flames leaped from the roof of a home on North Highland Drive.

Smoke, which could be seen for miles,  clouded the evening sky.  Despite the firefighter's efforts, the roof caved in.

There is no word on injuries or the cause of the fire.
