RALEIGH — Power is returning to most of CP&L's customers affected by a power outage along Capital Boulevard Monday morning.
At one point, 27,000 customers in Raleigh and Garner were without power.
The cause is believed to be a switch failure. CP&L expects power to be restored to all customers by mid-afternoon.
