Two Sexual Assaults Reported In Durham

DURHAM — Durham police are issuing a warning after reports of two sexual assaults in the city.

The attacks happened early Sunday morning in the 1600 block of Sedgefield Street. Police say a man entered two apartments through open windows.

Officers are encouraging neighbors to secure their windows before going to bed.

Police are currently looking for a suspect. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Durham Crimestoppers at919-683-1200.
