RALEIGH — About 2,000 boats have dropped anchor at the State Fairgrounds for the weekend as part of the 1999 Fall Boat Show and Sale.
Big boats, little boats, fishing boats and pontoons are all on display.
The boats can cost as much as $80,000, but sellers say they welcome browsers, not just buyers.
"People, especially men I guess, just love water. I've had a thrill of water, I guess, since I was a kid, and the best way to get around on it is on a boat," said boat dealer John Wynne.
You can see the boats until 8:00 p.m. Friday. The doors will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6.
