A day-care center and school in Goldsboro shut down early Friday after a water main break.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A day-care center and school in Goldsboro shut down early Friday after a water main break.
Officials said the water main break occurred underground at the intersection of Highway 117 and Highway 70 East.
As a precaution, Faith Christian School and Faith Daycare closed at 11 a.m.
Officials have closed the Highway 117 exit ramp so crews can make repairs.
