Raleigh Businesses Pass ALE Test

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — Seven Raleigh businesses busted for selling alcoholic beverages to minors are now in compliance. That after a second sweep by Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) officers.

Two weeks ago, ALE gents sent in an 18-year-old to buy the booze from 13 licensed establishments.

Clerks were cited at: Kicks 66 and Food Lion on Leesville Road; Tops Texaco Mart and Han Dee Hugo's on Duraleigh Road; Eckerd Drug and Food Lion on Wycliff Road and the Quality Mart on Beryl Road.

ALE officers went to those businesses again last week.

No one was in violation.
