CARY — Residents of one Wake County neighborhood have settled a score with a modular home builder.
A group of neighbors in the Brookwood subdivision took Energy Efficient Housing to court last year.
The neighbors contended that the home is a trailer, which is prohibited by their neighborhood covenant.
A judge ruled Friday the home builder would have to remove the modular home.
No word on whether the company will appeal.
