WINSTON-SALEM — Charges connected to a stalking complaint will not be filed against the Forsyth County sherriff's deputy who lied about being shot by two Hispanics.
Brian Barker, son of Forsyth County Sheriff Ron Barker, got in trouble earlier this year for filing a false police report.
After the incident, Barker's girlfriend claimed he was stalking her and that he took the lug nuts off the wheels of her car. The Forsyth County district attorney says there's not enough evidence to support that claim.
