TRAMWAY — Late Sunday afternoon, two Lee County deputies were shot. Two suspects were also shot. None was injured fatally.
The four were taken to a local hospital, where all were being treated for non-threatening injuries. The officers reportedly were shot in the face.
There was no further word on injuries.
The deputies were identified as Clint Edwards and Anthony Rosser.
Initial reports indicated the shooting occurred just south of Sanford, at a house in the Tramway community.
