Raleigh Fire Truck and Car Collide

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — A Raleigh fire truck and a car collided Sunday afternoon, but no one was seriously injured.

The accident occurred about 3 p.m. on Ray Road, just north of Lynn Road.

The fire truck was not on a call; it was heading back to its station. No lights or sirens were in use.

The car was broadsided when the woman driving the car pulled out in front of the fire truck.

The car was a relatively new Acura. Its driver sustained bumps and bruises.
