CHAPEL HILL — Plans to develop Chapel Hill's Meadowmont property into homes, shops and offices has upset a lot of residents.
Now those residents will get a chance to save some of the trees and plants in the area from bulldozers.
On Saturday, May 15, the developer will allow people to participate in a plant rescue. Residents can dig up ferns, wild flowers and small tree saplings for replanting.
The plant rescue will start at 9 a.m. and run until noon. For more information, interested call(919) 967-8443.
