Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE — Cumberland County investigators plan to distribute flyers in local schools to inform students there is now a $14,000 reward for information about who tossed a boulder over an overpass, critically injuring an 18-year-old tourist.

Officials hope the larger reward will lead them to the person, or people, responsible for dropping a 30-pound rock onto I-95 early this month.

Michael Vytlingam was driving on the interstate when the crashed through his windshield. Vytlingam was transferred Wednesday morning to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
