Regional Rail Meeting Slated Tonight

Posted Updated

MORRISVILLE — A proposed regional rail system is being touted as a way to end the gridlock many commuters in the Triangle face every day.

But one community group is afraid the idea will just bring more headaches.

Members of the Better Morrisville Association say there are too many questions and not enough answers surrounding a plan to link their city with Durham, Research Triangle Park, Cary and Raleigh.

Tonight they'll get to air concerns at a meeting with the Triangle Transit Authority.

The meeting will be held at the Morrisville Community Center on Morrisville Parkway beginning at 7:30.

The public is invited to attend.
