<b>LINDEN</b> — A Fayetteville woman died in a two-car wreck early Saturday morning.

The Highway Patrol says 75-year-old Clory Williams Surles died in an accident on US 401 near Linden.

Troopers say Jamie Ray Allen, 26, of Fayetteville, didn't yield while making a left turn. His car crossed the center line and hit Surles' vehicle.

Investigators say alcohol was not involved. Charges are pending.
