<b>FAYETTEVILLE</b> — An overnight shooting in Fayetteville  has claimed the life of a Fort Bragg soldier.

Police say two groups of people started fighting at a local nightclub.

The dispute ended in gunfire in the parking lot of McDonald's restaurant on Sycamore Dairy Road and Bragg Boulevard.

The victim was 25-year-old Robert Brownfield.

Police say Eric Ivey is responsible for Browfield's death.
