DURHAM — Midway Airlines is appealing a vote by its flight attendants to join a labor union.
Eighty-two of 107 flight attendants voted to join the Association of Flight Attendants. It's the second unionization vote for the Durham-based company's flight attendants.
Back in February they voted against the union.
But the National Mediation Board called for a new election after union officials claimed Midway interfered with the balloting.
