DURHAM — You can make a child's Christmas wish come true by handing over your used bike to Durham Police.
Officers were at South Square Mall Saturday collecting old bicycles.
They plan to give the donated bikes to children for Christmas.
Last year, the department gave away more than 150 bikes to children between the ages of 3 and 14.
You can still help, even if you missed Saturday's collection. If you want to donate a bike or tricycle, call the Durham police department.
