SANFORD — Some thrill seekers at a Lee County Fair got more than they bargained for Saturday night.
An arm broke off the Spider ride and fell 10 feet to the ground. One adult and six children were injured.
Most of the injuries were minor, mostly cuts and scrapes.
But one child is still in the hospital with wrist injuries that will require surgery.
State officials are investigating to find out what caused the accident.
