A subsidiary of Illinois-based CGI Holding Corporation, MarketSmart Interactive underwent management changes late last year as a result of $1.4 million in bad debts.
Think Partnership said MarketSmart would be adding a variety of new services as a result of some recent acquisitions. The firm, which employs 160 people and is based in Morrisville, will offer marketing, technical and web development services. The new offerings reflect capabilities acquired from such firms as Litmus Media, Crystal Semantics and Web Diversity.
"MarketSmart Interactive is now poised to deliver phenomenal value to marketers by meeting their online needs with customized solutions," said George Douaire, the chief operating officer of Think Partnership who also is acting executive manager for MarketSmart Interactive. "Once the acquisitions are complete we are prepared to hit the ground running."
Litmus Media offers real-time click fraud prevention technology among other capabilities. Web Diversity, which operates in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, offers paid search campaign management automation technology. Crystal Semantics, which is based in the UK, focuses on contextual search technology.
MarketSmart is also adding Google Analytics to better track clients' campaigns.
"Over the past several months, while we have been aggressively developing our core product offerings, we have also pursued the development of a strong corporate identity that will accurately represent our company and its services to our clients and prospects," said Tom Dwyer, MarketSmart Interactive's vice president of interactive advertising. "While our company name is changing, MarketSmart Interactive will continue to provide our customers with customized interactive marketing solutions and dedicated customer service that is unmatched in the marketplace."
Dwyer was one of three new senior managers named at MarketSmart as part of a shakeup following the bad debt discovery.
