Raleigh's Flooded Streets Now Dry

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — Last night's heavy storms left a mess on some Wake County roads.

That included Avent Ferry Road in Raleigh, where muddy water filled the road.

Police blocked off the street while they waited for the water to recede.

Also, traffic along Glenwood Avenue was down to one lane for a time.

Police say all the affected roads have been reopened for morning traffic.
