FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 15-year-old was hospitalized Friday evening with serious injuries from a stabbing, police said.

Police said the stabbing happened on Collins Street at Johnson Street in the Bonnie Doone neighborhood of Fayetteville.

Further details about the victim were not immediately clear, but authorities said the teen was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and was in serious condition at the time.

Investigators said they have not made any arrests.
