FAYETTEVILLE — The son of a murdered Cumberland County sheriff's deputy is himself in trouble with the law. Daniel Lee Hathcock, his wife Deborah, and another man, Veotis Harding, were arrested over the weekend for running a prostitution ring.
Fayetteville Police say the three were renting out women for sex.
David Hathcock, Daniel's father, was one of two lawmen killed last year on Interstate-95 after stopping Tilmon and Kevin Golphin for a traffic violation.
