<b>RALEIGH</b> — A suspect is now behind bars in connection with a deadly hit-and-run accident that occured last week.

Raleigh police arrested Matthew Hanson Monday and charged him with killing Charles Willis.

Willis was riding a bike just a few feet from his driveway along Saint James Church Road, in Raleigh when he was hit.

Police credit a checkpoint and media coverage with helping them find the suspect.

Police say a woman was shot in the upper thigh while two men inside the home were arguing. EMS stabilized the woman and took her to ECU Health in Greenville. Both men suffered gunshot wounds during the altercation.
