ROANOKE RAPIDS — The controversy over a new topless bar in Roanoke Rapids isn't going away. New fuel was added Tuesday when the bar was robbed.
The owner of the Gentleman's Playground was robbed at gunpoint while he was alone in the club.
Officers surrounded the building, but the robber had already gotten away. So far, there have been no arrests.
