CARRBORO, N.C. — Police said Thursday that they had closed two Orange County bank robbery cases with the arrest of a man by Durham County sheriff's deputies.
Carrboro police charged Victor Jackson, 50, with attempted robbery for a March 28 incident at an RBC Centura branch. Hillsborough police charged him with robbery for a March 23 incident at the Cardinal State Bank.
Jackson, whose last known address was in Chapel Hill, was arrested whenj he appeared in court in Durham on an unrelated charge, Carrboro police said. He was ordered held in the Orange County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
