<b>RALEIGH</b> — The second trial of the man accused of killing a Raleigh Police Detective, and convicted of killing another man, will begin in August.

Last month, a Wake County jury convicted Kawame Mays of first degree murder in the death of Michael Walker, but the jury could not agree on a verdict in the murder of Detective Paul Hale.

The new trial for Hale's death is scheduled to start August 10th.
