DeMarcus Corbett, in his 20s, remains hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the head, which police said appeared to be self-inflicted.
Police said Foxworth was shot in the head and chest as she sat in her car, parked in front of the New Hope Commons Wal-Mart. Investigators said that seconds before the shooting, a man had pulled into the parking lot Friday night, and blocked Foxworth's car into a space.
Two children, friends of Foxworth, were also in her car. A 12-year-old girl received a graze wound to her arm; a 14-year-old boy was not harmed.
Police said they believed Corbett to have been Foxworth's ex-boyfriend.
