PITTSBORO — Recovery crews have finally found the body of a drowning victim at Jordan Lake. Fifteen-year-old Soloman Scott slipped under the water while enjoying a day at the lake with his church group Sunday.
Scott and several others jumped from the boat they were in to swim to shore. But Scott didn't make it. Recovery crews found his body about 50 feet from where he was last seen in the water.
