A dumpster fire broke out on N.C. State University's Centennial Campus early Friday morning with reports of flames shooting 50 feet in the air.

The fire was reported by housekeeping staff near Research Drive and Main Campus Drive, but no major damage has been found so far.

Raleigh firefighters were on the scene to control the blaze, which was confined in the dumpster between a building and a retaining wall.
