RALEIGH — Hot flames threatened several homes in Raleigh this weekend.
Investigators aren't certain what started fires on Leesville and Ray Roads yesterday. Both areas still retained the smell of smoke Sunday morning, the last crews didn't leave until ten Saturday night.
Flames did not reach any houses, but about thirty acres of land were destroyed.
