The festival starts April 26 and ends April 30.
Organizers have announced lots of new events to add to the list of old favorites. A dog show and duck races are fun additions to the celebration this year. Leaders say all the events will be closer together in distance and time.
"We've put together a good festival that's good for our community and hope everyone will take advantage to come down and join in with the explosion of excitement we've had surrounding downtown and the beautification of downtown," says festival chairperson Meredith Stiehl.
The banners marking the Dogwood Trail are going up Friday.
