Power Restored In Cary After Car Accident Hits Transformer

CARY, N.C. — Some Cary residents were without power for nearly two hours Wednesday evening after a car hit a transformer.
Cary police said the accident happened after 11 p.m. near the the intersection of Edinburgh and Glasgow roads and that the driver was not at the scene when they arrived.
Progress Energy crews worked through the night to restore power to 30 homes.
