Cumberland Women Charged After Teen Party

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two women were arrested in Cumberland County on Tuesday after allegedly providing alcohol to teens at a party.

Vivian Vickery, 35, of Stedman and Samantha Corbin, 22, of Fayetteville are charged with one count each of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

The arrests stem from a party that was allegedly held at Vickery's home on Nov. 12. Authorities say that Vickery and Corbin allegedly hosted the party for approximately 50 high school students and provided them with alcoholic beverages including; multiple kegs of beer, vodka and Jell-O shooters.

Authorities say that witnesses from the party also told detectives that narcotics were used at the event.

Vickery was released from jail after giving a written promise to appear in court, while Corbin was released on $500 secured bond. They are both scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 9.
