DUNN, N.C. — A Dunn police officer hit by a car during a chase in Harnett County will need leg surgery.
Both officers were chasing a suspect on foot Friday after he jumped out of a car on Interstate 95.
A second officer who was also hit was treated and released.
Police say the suspect is in custody, but authorities will not release his name.
