Cumberland Man Charged With Sex Crimes

STEDMAN, N.C. — A Cumberland County man is charged with a list of sex crimes.

Investigators arrested Jeremy Dean, 19, of Stedman. They say the crimes took place at his Maxwell Road home on Nov. 16 and involved a 15-year-old girl.

Dean is charged with statutory rape, kidnapping, three counts of sex offense and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He also faces breaking and entering charges in a separate case.

Dean is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $96,500 secured bond.
