Durham Police Arrest Seven In Prostitution Operation

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police arrested several people on prostitution charges after residents complained of activity in the area of the city.

Seven people were arrested on Wednesday in an area near Angier Avenue, police said.

Francine Mack, 33, Tracy Ann Ferrell, 35, Tammy Diane Gray, 38, Espranza Cedeno, 38, Songia Rodmen, 35, and Leondres Jordan, 27, all of Durham, were changed with soliciting crime against nature, police said.

Cristina Jones, 25, of Durham was charged with soliciting for prostitution, police said.

Three arrests happened on Angier Avenue. Others were arrested on South Plum Street, Guthrie Avenue, Goley Street and Fern Street, police said.
