<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Work on Interstate 540 will cause some delays this weekend.

The state Department of Transportation is closing part of Buffaloe Road in northeast Raleigh between New Hope and Forestville Roads.

Crews will start work on a new bridge for Interstate 540.

The road closes at 7 p.m. Friday and will not reopen until Monday morning.
