Cumberland County Authorities Find Meth Lab In Wade

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — On Wednesday afternoon, Cumberland County authorities discovered a methamphetamine lab in the back yard of a mobile home in Wade.
Deputies said they discovered the lab while attempting to serve an arrest warrant to a person who lives in a mobile home on
Percy Strickland Road
.
They said they found tubing, coolers, gas cylinders and mason jars at the scene.
Agents from the State Bureau of Investigation tested chemicals and determined the make-shift operation was producing methamphetamine.
They said the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration would clean up the lab.
Investigators added that arrests were pending.
