No Injuries Reported In Wake School Bus Accident

RALEIGH, N.C. — Some students had a rough ride on their way to school Monday morning.

According to Wake County school officials, a vehicle ran a red light around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of

Carpenter Fire Station Road and Highway 55

and hit a school bus.

The school bus was headed to Lufkin Middle School in Apex. Authorities say there were no injuries involving the students on the bus.

The kids were later placed on another school bus and transported to school.
